Here’s the timeline for the current launch. Dates with a star are key dates for promotion.

Commissions will go out September 15.
Many people need to be exposed to a product five times before they buy. One recommended promotional sequence is:
-
Send people to the freebie. There is an affiliate link set up for this in e-junkie–it’s called “What’s Stopping You?” When you use that link, your cookie will be set on the user’s machine so that if they buy the workshop later, you’ll get the commission. You can promote the freebie any time.
-
Let people know it’s coming. You might do a post or newsletter article about how you’ve overcome your fears, or an aspect of how to overcome fear. Stories really resonate with people. Then let them know the workshop will be available soon if they’re interested. A good time to do this is Monday, August 22–the day before the cart goes live.
-
It’s live! On Tuesday, August 23, at noon Eastern, when the cart opens, send people to the sales page. (Use the “Beyond Fear” affilliate link in e-junkie.)
You can increase your sales a lot by offering a bonus to the people who buy it from you. Possible bonuses that work well include a mini ebook, a coaching call with you, a webinar. If you have another product of your own that retails for much less than this, such as an ebook, you can really sweeten the pot by including that as a bonus. Your commission will be more than you would have gotten from selling the book, so you can look at it as a sweet upsell.
-
Reminder–ending soon. Reiterate the benefits and give them another reminder linking to the sales page, perhaps the day before the cart closes (Thursday, August 25).
-
Last chance! Send them one final email about four hours before the cart closes, again linking to the sales page. (This would go out Friday, August 26, at 8 pm Eastern.)
Of course, you’ll want to do whatever makes the most sense for your audience–this is just a suggested sequence that has worked for many people.
