To make your promotions as effective as possible for getting you the most money, I recommend you do these things:<\/p>\n

  1. \n

    Offer awesome bonuses.<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \nThis is a proven winner–the more incentive you give buyers, the more you will sell.<\/strong> One common bonus is a 1-on-1 coaching session with you or an exclusive webinar for the people who buy through you. This is something you can do easily even if you don’t have a product or your product is off the market.\n<\/p>\n

    Other possibilities include a bundle of products, or offering one of your products as a bonus. You can treat it as an upsell–pick one of your products that sells for less than the $98.50 commission and include it “free” when people purchase Beyond Fear from you. You get more than the price of the product for little or no extra work, and they get a sweet deal. Never underestimate the power of offering something free.\n<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  2. \n

    Resend your message to the people who didn’t open the message the first time.<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Use a different subject line but the same email body. This takes almost no effort and pays off big.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  3. \n

    Be creative.<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Do something different to stand out from the crowd–that’s what gets people’s attention and gets buzz.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Try a webinar.<\/strong><\/p>\n

    The great thing about a webinar is it’s an event, so you can promote it heavily without getting on people’s nerves. If you provide valuable information, you can have your audience’s attention for up to an hour and a half, not just a few minutes to skim a blog post or email. If you talk about the benefits of overcoming fear without saying how to do it, you create desire in your audience–desire they can relieve by buying Beyond Fear.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  5. \n

    Be persistent.<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Many people have to be exposed to something five times<\/em> before they’ll buy it.<\/strong> That means you can’t just send out one email and expect a lot of sales. You’ll want to incorporate a lot of different media (Twitter, Facebook, email, a whole blog post or a small note at the beginning of a post) and send multiple messages.<\/p>\n

    Promoting the freebie (“What’s Stopping You?”) is a great way to get people primed without being pushy. Don’t forget to use the “What’s Stopping You?” affiliate link in e-junkie if you want to make sure to get credit for the people you refer to it.<\/p>\n<\/ol>\n
